How many dog tags does your dog wear?
Trixies Mama asked:
How many do you think a dog should wear?
How many do you think a dog should wear?
Mine each wear 3, an ID tag, a license, and their rabbies tag.
What about yours?
Fast Food

none. she stays insde
My dogs where ID tag, a license, Rabies Tag and a Medical Alert tag.
Zero.
They don’t wear collars unless we are out.
If we’re travelling, they have reflective flat collars with my cell phone number written directly on the collar.
mine just wear the vet tags..the jingling GOT ON MY NERVES! LOL since I keep the info up to date with the vet, I didn’t feel the need to have an ID on top of that.
I have 5 dogs and they each wear 3 tags same as yours. When they run through the house the tags jingle and it sounds like some odd Christmas carol
none i hate they way they clang and he has a harness nt a collar

Name/ID tag
Rabies tag
Microchip ID tag
My pup doesn’t have a license. In my city, dogs don’t need a license if they are neutered and microchipped.
None I have toy breeds and do not believe in putting anything around their delicate throats. They are both micro-chipped so that identification enough. I also use a harness for walking them, its kinder.
Just one. Where I live the rabies tag is the license and he never goes out unleashed so I don’t have an id tag.
Mine has 2. Her ID tag and a tag to say she is micro chipped
Just 1. It has her name, my name, and my phone number on it. She’s also microchippped.
I tried putting her rabies tag on, but it’s big and she can get it into her mouth and chew on it.
I just purchased one of these, which I will keep her rabies and microchip tag on, as well as a tag saying that she is spayed and there will be a cash reward if she’s found. It will stay in the the emergency evacuation kit I’m putting together.
.
Same as you:) 3, plus I also write on the collar there name and our number, with a permanent magic marker. All are on different holders so if one get caught on a branch or something they all won’t fall off:)
If we’re outside, an I.D. tag and rabies tag. Indoors, nothing.
none i keep my dogs papers filed with each of theirtags attached to the papers. and if someone needed to know information i can just get them the information. They don’t like the tags anyway because they jingle and they try to eat the tags. Just another reason not to put them on them.
3 - ID tag, rabbies tag, microchip ID # tag.
Even if a dog is an inside dog or is always leashed when outside, I think a dog should ALWAYS have some form of ID on him/her so if ever there is an accident where the dog gets loose somehow, the dog can be brought home. Leashes and harnesses break, sometimes someone leaves the door or gate open. Things happen beyond our control and having an ID tag on a dog at all times can prevent the worst from happening.
